HCR is located on the north shore of Kauai, 5 miles north of Hanalei. The closest airport is Lihue, 40 miles from the resort. Depart the airport on the access road (Ahukini Road, Hwy 570) and follow this road until you reach the first stoplight - the junction of Kuhio Hwy (Hwy 56). Make a right turn onto Hwy 56 and keep on this road until you arrive at the entrance to Hanalei Colony Resort. The drive will take approximately one hour, depending on traffic conditions. This truly is a beautiful scenic drive and worth every minute!
